I tend to watch really difficult films on my birthday, dating back to Silence of the Lambs 25 years ago. This year was no different with a viewing of "Room". This line is inspired by a line in the film where Jack asks his Ma: "Where do we go in our dreams?
Children ask these questions all the time, but it feels like an epiphany in this special film. I wonder why we don't ask these questions of each other more often.
