Tiny Accidental Hipsters - Goemon Twins
If you've ever spent any time around the Sunset, Richmond, or Chinatown district, you will often see these l'il vibrant, fashion mavens walking about in the wilderness with their grandparents. I often marvel at the clash in colors, kawaii-ness of their accessories, and the devil may care quality of their parents' choices.
I related this observation to a very talented poet/artist friend of mine, and she responded, "Oh, you mean like Tiny Accidental Hipsters?" And so a series was born that very night. You can find more of her brilliance and heartbreaking work at: www.facebook.com/thepoetrystore

This series will feature all real clothes that I've seen and since it's unethical to have children do runways, this was the next best thing.

There's No Place Like Gnome
I have a few people to thank for this latest snapshot of this fair city.
Sara Dosa, a very talented filmmaker, took the original picture in her neighborhood coming home from work. I could not resist the Exquisite Corpse impulse to draw a gnome and elf family into the proceedings.
Rostom D carries the credit of naming this piece when he saw it.

High Times
I found out that this is how I doodle when I'm under the influence. There's something very R Crumb-y about it. Anyhow, it was fun and funny to visit this world in my mind palace. Nothing like staring into a trippy abyss for a spell.
